MEET THE CREATOR

I’m Oliver and I’m a 17 year old woodturner from The New Forest, Hampshire.

From a young age I have always loved working with tools, from using my dad’s drill to helping him lay patios, and much more. At the age of thirteen I developed a keen passion for woodturning, learning from YouTube videos and trial and error, until I came in to contact with woodturner Yeoman RPT Joe Creed-Kaile.
I spent some time studying alongside Joe, learning the art of the lathe.

After countless hours of learning and practicing, I now create contemporary art pieces, functional household use items and much more. I also take on various commissions and custom work.

In 2023 at age 16 I became the youngest person to win the AWGB U21 woodturning competition.
